I will be giving the plenary address to the Nurse Practitioners of Oregon, in Eugene Oregon on October 19th, 2019.
I am so excited to be able to continue to share, with this noble profession, how they can better empower themselves and be treated as equals within their healthcare teams.
"I love the use of attributes described, to help women become empowered at their workplace. It is a very timely topic and should encourage and assist any working woman to reach their highest potential including shattering their glass ceiling." CCO of a major healthcare company
"Thank you for writing this book. It adds a strong voice to the very timely (well let's face it, overdue) discussion about women's place and women's power. I hope it reaches every woman- either as a book in her hands, or as the inspiration that created the change she witnesses in her life and in the lives of those she cares about." Editor
Judge’s Commentary: 6thAnnual eBook Competition from Writer’s Digest of The New Working Woman’s rEvolution
What a great line, “What would a world of respecting each other’s strengths, rather than perseverating over our differences, look like?” It speaks so much to society as well as culture. While the Introduction was a bit long, the fact that the 11 attributes were incorporated is fantastic, and shows the author’s heart vision for the book and the desire to change the world through influence, even at the base level. Excellent material for women (and men) to learn from and apply to their own spheres of influence, to offer that sense of empowerment to those around for the advancement of accomplishment and success in the workplace.
Book me as a guest speaker, and I will be happy to provide any of my books at half price.

Q:Where can I purchase your books?
A: You can visit Amazon.com, Barnes and Noble.com, Goodreads.com to purchase any of my books.
Q: What topics can you speak on?
A: Women empowerment, nursing empowerment, death/grieving.
Q: What is your expertise in all these topics?
A: As a woman physician, I have witnessed inequities in my profession and in the nursing profession. I have also helped families deal with the death of their baby. I feel I have a close relationship with Death as an entity, one where Death is no longer my enemy, but actually my partner in bringing comfort to patients that are terminally suffering.
I have been a subspecialty physician for 30 + years. I have seen how society devalues women, both at home and in the workplace by continually placing more value of women’s beauty over brains. My coworkers and I have experienced this inequality and unfair treatment of women in the professional setting over the years.
My passion and motivation to write my empowering books derives from wanting to help women who have experienced similar situations.
My aim is to empower women, not make them into "little men." By doing so, I hope to accelerate the overall equality of the sexes in all areas of life!
My other passions include employee rights and corporate social responsibility. My first-hand experience concerning these topics stem from my experience of being fired for " challenging the status-quo" at work. I realized to late the cost of working for a corporation without a "soul". These experiences have allowed me to help others navigate the workforce and become empowered as employees with rights.I provide hope that if others search for companies with ethics and integrity, they will indeed be re-hired.
Finally, as a physician, I have dealt with many issues concerning death, including the right to assist death "with dignity". My "intimate interview" with Death itself, puts a unique spin to the topic.
My hope is to continue to help others live empowered, joyful lives and enjoy this journey called life!
I believe in the power of words to change how we perceive ourselves and the world around us. I love to write about the topics I am passionate about especially topics that I feel can impact others lives for the better.
As a woman physician, my experiences have helped shape my writing roots towards helping others.
Fiction is not my forte except for writing children books which allow animals to communicate with humans to help teach them important lessons. Check out what I believe to be the best self help books that will help empower you!
I write non-fiction, on subjects I am passionate about and know best.
I believe helping others empower themselves is paramount to leading fulfilling lives.
Also, as a physician, I have had to deal with death and the aftermath of grieving families. Thus, I have also written a book that spans all religions and give the Universe's answer to comforting those in the mist of death and grief.
I'm also in the process of writing a book for physicians and corporate healthcare which I hope will re-inject humanity back into medicine.
